She holds an honors degree from the Applied Health Sciences Faculty from the University of Waterloo, which she attained in 1997. When she moved to BC from Ontario she worked for Paris Orthotics and Ossur (formerly Generation II Orthotics) in Richmond. She worked clinically assessing and dispensing custom knee braces and foot orthotics.
Since 2002, she has been working as in independent practitioner providing clinical services in Gibsons (on the Sunshine Coast), in Richmond and inWhite Rock. She feels an integrated approach works best when trying to solve soft tissue injuries or alignment issues. Her favorite clientele is active individuals but in particular, runners, athletes and dancers. She has an extensive background herself and enjoys Flamenco dance, yoga, pilates and hiking.
Beatrice graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1996. She is a member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and College of Pedorthics receiving her full designation in 2000. Beatrice's work experience includes both hospital and private clinics. She co-owns West Coast Pedorthics with Noelle Trotter which has been opened since 2004. In 2011 West Coast Pedorthics moved into the Richmond Olympic Oval to work in an interdisciplinary clinic with LifeMark.
When Beatrice is not working or chauffeuring her 2 young children she enjoys practicing various styles of yoga and the occasional run when weather allows.
